Hey guys. After searching on this forum for a while, I still have a question regarding an amp for my setup. I have Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 component speakers for the fronts...A JL 10W3V3 as a sub...
I would like an amp to power everything...I'm not gonna run rear speakers and I'll be getting a D3 Head unit soon. So basically I have to power the Infinity speakers and my JL sub... *** BTW the speakers are 100w RMS each and the sub is 500W RMS 4 Ohm.
Any help would be great, I don't know much about car audio, so enlighten me.
*Here is a pic of my sub+box...I'm trying to keep my audio setup clean and simple. Right now, I am running this sub on a Alpine M500 amp. I would like to just run my speakers and sub all on one amp.

Thanks for the help!

Bridge the other two channels = 500 watts rms

If it's 4ohm DVCs, you will only get 250 watts.

You will be very happy with that amp, its actually under rated so it puts out more power than they list. This is like one of the only times some one asked for advice and actually followed through on it lol.
woohoo for JL audio... i personally would just run 2 amps... can check my sig for my audio stuff... have a bunch of pictures too... let me know if you have questions about JL stuff

I have a JL sub, but I got it really cheap. I thought JL was just overpriced...But still good quality? My amp I currently have is under powering the sub...Its only running 300 watts to the sub...Which is RMS @ 500w...Plus having one amp will be easier to mount in the glove box.
^ Yes they make good/decent stuff and over priced. I ran a set of w6's, yes one of the best subs i ever used but developed a 2 inch crack in the surround and jl wanted $176 to fix it which includes replacing every moving part. I didnt need it i just needed a $20 part. on Jl's newer subs they make it so their suppliers only supply them with those specific parts so they charge 2x as much for recones and for something so simple as a tear in the surround you can either fix yourself, send it to them for serious price gouging are make it a paper weight. I will never buy another one of there products especially since there are so many better subs, amps etc etc out now that out perform and are cheaper to buy and maintain.
