Default Help Installing New Amp and New Speakers PROBLEM!

Ok, so I have a kenwood dnx7100 head unit and recently decided to buy components and some rear speakers for my z, and dished out an 4 way amp to power the speakers. Now the issue...

1. I installed everything, but when my car is off without the key in it, my amp light is on and supposedly powered on.

2. When I turn ON my headunit, my amp turns OFF and vise versa.

I understand I may have some issue with my wiring, I need some guidance asap.
The RCA cables and the power amp are attached.
- I attached the power amp wire to the kenwood headunit to a white/blue wire which is supposedly for the amp.
- I attached the 2 plug RCA cable at the moment from the AMP to the AV OUT in the headunit harness. There are REAR, FRONT,SUB WOOFER, and AV OUT to choose from.

I was running stock non-bose speakers before from my kenwood headunit, and just wanted to make sure the harness I used for that would be ok. Considering now, everything is powered by the amp and not the headunit.

I have been tinker for awhile now, and really need to finish it soon.... So if anyone has knowledge to what my issue is help would be great!!!!

Shouldn't your RCAs be plugged into the "REAR" from the HU since that's what you're using the amp for?

Did you hook up the pink/black (external amp control) wire?

I'm saying that the amp remote wire isn't in the right spot.

and why AV out? That would be used for a display screen if you were to play dvd's.

I'd move the RCA's to the front or rear output and adjust it in the head-unit.
