I recently bought this deck and I have the scoshe kit that came with it. Everything installed correctly except the deck will not sit in the kit correctly. I can't screw in the final 4 screws because it seems the decks face is too big. I'm wondering is this just a pioneer thing or am I screwing something up? I've read somewhere before you need to shave the tabs off to install a pioneer deck but I didn't believe it.

Anyone have any input with this install?

 

and i didn't shave anything to make my pioneer head unit sit in. Though it is a different model.
