Default Do these speakers fit?

http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosga...lickdeals&ses=

Amazon claims it fits but Crutch field claims it doesn't. Anyone have speakers these speakers? These are extra cheap at $36 for a pair so if it fits I will get it.

So yes they would be better but I would recommend if you are going to upgrade a bose system do it right and do the whole thing.
Does anyone have any idea what the f*ck this guy just said?

bigaudiofanatic is correct. The Z’s OEM Bose is a proprietary system that does not accept modifications. Bose does make some good systems, but the Z’s OEM Bose setup is not one of these.

If you have the Z’s OEM Bose system and want to change part of it (new speakers, new amp, new H/U, etc.), you will need either need to add adapters (pretty much a guessing game providing unpredictable results) or change all the components (best way to do this).

I'm not sure that you need to rerun wiring.

Yup... you are correct on the wiring as well.

One wonders why Nissan would go with something like 24 guage wiring with the Bose "upgrade?"

I suppose if you build a few thousand cars and go "cheapo" on the wire, you save a significant number of $$'s.
