NICE Stereo install in my 06 Z Custom ;)
I am new to this forum, and also a new Z owner, I have an 06 pearl white, auto, touring. The first major mod I did was my stereo. Gotta have a little bump in my sounds. I had some real nice kickpanels made up for each side, nice box for my JL 10w7 ported, two amps are hidden inside the driverside compartment (with 2 ports, 1 fanned), 2 different component sets, JL XR's and Eclipses. This system sounds unbelievable! I wanted it as stealth as possible. Hope these pics show up ok.

ya think so? I had asked my family their opinion and they also agreed, my brother had run into the back of my car smashing the factory's, these were cheaper so I figured I'd try this look, I may just go back to stock look.

you can never have too much bass..... unless it hits this hard>><<
on a serious note, i disagree with you on 1 10" being plenty of bass... for you maybe
bc i dont even think my 13w7 is enough bass ... different strokes for different folks
nice install, make sure you have the right stuff and nice tune to bring everything together... it might get better than you think

nice set up.. very similar to mine.. a few insights that may help?
First, buy an OEM panel for behind the drivers seat.. there was a factory subwoofer there, it has a nice clean mesh grill... and your fan can go right behind it.. also, i used the factory glove box from the other side of the car and bolted it in there.. keeps all that nasty dust out of my amps.. and gives a vey finished look.
I think those are stand out items that will really tie it up.. if you ever diug into the install again to update it, maybe throw those in ther.. youl be happy.. and the glose box cost me 40 bucks, the grille piece cost me 32.. and the install is totally stealth and factory looking.
