just picked up a pair for the rear...any one else have them??..sounded decent in the showroom...looking to do the doors with a set of boston components when I upgrade my headunit...

ok just swapped out the BA NX's(never installed) for BA SL65's anyone have the SL's???

 

I'll see what I have in my back. I can't remember the model #, but they sound ok. The front speakers are where you are going to significant improvement. My Bostons upfront are incredible.

 

I ran Boston Pro 6.5s upfront (tweets in kick panel) and a set of Boston 5T neo tweeters in stock location set to ambient (4K+ frequencies only). I'm in the process of swapping the Pros for Boston Reference Z6 speakers . The FXs sould be a decent stock upgrade and the Rally RC series are a big jump from stock. The Rallys have great midbass and should do fine off of HU power although will do way better amped. Don't even consider the References or the Pros without an amp...

 

full range sl65's in the back for now...HU & fronts (BA components) will be 2nd upgrade..3rd will be sub & amp...I've heard a nice BA set up in a 300ZX sounded swwhheet...sure they will sound nice in 350Z...
