Has anyone else had a problem with their bose 6 disc changer? It quit working on me yesterday. It wont play any cd's?!?!?! No cd-r's will play neither the cd's you buy at the store. It keeps saying check disc.

 

Had this problem about 3 months ago. Take it to your dealer. They will advise you that they don't "repair", only "replace". If you have a responsive dealer you should have a "new" cd unit within a week.

 

So there is really nothing i can do? I just need to take it to the dealer to have it replaced?

 

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do All you dealer can do is order you a "New" unit. Without hesitation, my dealer had one on order within minutes. Received and install within a week. I think the replacement performed better. Have you installed the "New" amp? I guess I am assuming you fall within the dates of the TSB. Do both at the same time and enjoy. On a scale from 1 to 10, the old rated a 3 or 4. I will give the "new" 8 or 9.

 

mine seemed like it got jammed up a couple months ago. It wouldnt eject, load, or play cd's. I took it to the dealer and the ordered me a new unit with no hassles.

 

Thanks for the advice guys.....yea i haven't gotten the amp tsb yet but plan on getting it........whenever i get the chance...it just sucks because i'll have to be driving without a cd player for a while.

 

mine quit playing cds through the left channel...radio is fine.
