Default Help with deciding on front door speakers

I've been researching this one for quite some time and still come up with a ton of options and end up putting this on the back burner. I've decided to get some advice from you guys that already have a set up that you love.

Some things I'm looking for:

-Looking for mid-level cost (around $200)
-Rich but crisp sound
-NOT excessively tinny/metallic/harsh sounding
-New tweeters to fit in the stock location

Let me know if anyone has some good recommendations! Thanks!!

Thanks for the suggestions!

I like some of the Phoenix gear but haven't thought about their speakers, I'll have to check them out!

I was considering the Focals at one point but read several reviews that they were harsh and metallic, did you find this to be true?

Go to your local audio shop and listen to some speakers is the best thing you can do to try to sort out what your ears are going to like.
Just keep in mind they might not sound just like they do on the sound board. Listen to different speakers just to get an idea of what they sound like.

ive been buying high dollar speakers for my cars for 20 years.. dude, i gotta tell you, the Boston Acoustic Pro 60 SE are SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK.
I run them w wicked CAS door pds, and huige power, along w Alpine Imprint room tune technology, and they are amazing.
They can be had for around 380 on ebay from reputable sellers.
I also used to sell these things, also hihg end home speakers, Polk, Paradigm, Martin Logan etc.. I know my stuff.. these are great speakers for cars, especially the Z, i cant tell you enuff how happy you will be, I do hear Focal is good too, but are a bit more expensive.

make sure you can get a good mix of treble and bass and you don't hear static if you turn them both up.
