Amp question
Im going to be installing two amps in my Z. Both are pioneer amps one is a GM-D9500F 4 channel amp RMS 75X4 at 4OHMS and a GM-D8500M mono amp RMS 400. I have been looking everywhere and can't find a clear answer. Do i need to put a relay on the remote turn on wire for these two amps? This is all i will be running just two amps nothing more or do you guys think it will be okay to just run one wire to one amp then another small wire from that amp to the other thanks any help will be appreciated thanks
do you have a stock head unit or aftermarket
if a stock head unit pull trigger from the fuse box, use a fuse tap, and use a fuse that is not constant power , only a fuse that gives power when key is turned on, though voltage is low you are still using it to run a bit of power so use 1 amp fuse on the wire as not to start a fire, 12 to 18 awg should do and you can trigger both amps with one wire just splice it at the amps to make 2
if you have an aftermarket head unit it should have a trigger wire to source

I have a after market headunit pioneer. What do you mean trigger wire ?
If you are asking if two amps will be too much of a current draw for the remote turn on lead of your head unit, the answer is "no problem".
The amplifiers' remote-turn-on inputs don't require much current at all. The main power terminals draw a lot of current but you are just concerned about the remote turn on, right?

But the amount of current pulled by an amp's "turn-on" input is a fraction of that limit.
