Totally depends on how old and what model. New ones will run about $1300... but again, that's for a brand new, current year make. Without a specific model number there's just no way we can tell you for sure.

okay sorry starting over. The guy said he was throwing in the ipod wire, blue tooth and camara. in reality was just telling me what came in the box which is the av output wire and that it is blue tooth and camara ready. And everything else the whole thing would come out around 600 and i can get this
http://cgi.ebay.com/JENSEN-VM9424-6-...item45f7c79704 for 460

i was gonna pay 425 for just the radio. dash insert, and gps wire. and 45 for ipod wire

what I am looking for an hu with navi dvd. ipod hook up that fully intergrates the ipod... the blue tooth and camara would be nice but...

is there a different set up or online site that i can find a better deal for what i am looking for?

So... let me see if I got what you're trying to break down to people who may be able to help you.

Basically, there's a Panasonic Strada CN-NVD905u head unit a "kid" has that he's looking to sell for $200, but it's just the unit. It doesn't have any of the "optional" equipment. Another "kid" has a newer Jensen head unit that, if I understand correctly, also comes with a dash unit? Anyway... that being said, you want to know if anybody has advice for you?

If I'm following you, here's my advice. The Panasonic unit is worth more (if that REALLY IS the model, and it works) than the Jensen. If they're both basically not coming with any optional add-ons, I would go with it. If you're trying to find a double-din touch-screen, DVD, ipod, satellite, and blue-tooth ready player... WITH all the extra equipment, including dash kit and wires for around $400, I just don't know where to get you that kind of hook-up. Check out www.Crutchfield.com to see a TON of options that are car specific. If you buy from them, they usually come with hardware to help you with the install for free... but if you don't like the price, you can always get part or model numbers and google them for more pricing options. Good luck.

Thanks for getting back to me and Im sorry about the word soup have a lil adhd and my thoughts were all over the place. You hit it pretty much on the head.
Ill start with my needs and cash flow
I have 500$$ looking for a double din navi dvd mp3 unit that intergrates the ipod well. Blue tooth and a camara would be nice too.

Some kid was selling the panasonic for $200...I choose not to go this route b/c it didnt have any of the optionally equipment.(manly the ipod wire) other problem is panansonic no longer makes car audio so god forbid anything wrong with this im stuck. lastly it is from 2007 I believe so the software is a bit dated.

In my search for an ipod wire for the Panasonic my local shop showed me the jensen vm9242 and said would give me all the harnesses and the the gps wire included. and with the dash kit comes to 425. He also said it had the ipod wire and blue tooth included and would throw in rear camara. well the blue tooth he was just saying was ready and an easy plug in and the ipod wire is the a/v wire that comes with it and plugs in the front not the one that plugs in the back and allows you to work the ipod of the screen.

so where I am at. I am still interested in the jensen hu, although not nearly as nice as the apline, pioneer, or the kenwood's, kenwood has taken jensen over so gotta be decent and also I am not looking to build a redic set up. really just want my ipod to be integrated with the touch screen and have a navi b/c only upgrade that wasn't in the car.

I have found the jensen hu w the bluetooth adaptor and rear camara included for 460 and I found the ipod link wire for 20. so for 480 would have soup to nuts.or other package offered includes the ipod link wire and blue tooth but no rear camara...My question for this is will I ever really use the camara? i had the car for 4 years and never bump anything in reverse lol. and also are the camaras to add on cheap and easy to install? im thinking it will be easier to install the rear camara when i install my subs, dnt wanna rip all the plastics off just to run the camara.

lastly i found the hu for 380 basically everywhere plus the 20 cable brings me to 400 then the blue tooth 51 so i can save 10 ordering from all different places.....not gonna do this...

so if anyone can help out would be great i would like to order by tm so i can install on sat or sun when Im off work.
thank you all again I am sorry my grammar is terrible and all over the place..

Man for some reason when I read your post and/or replies I read it super fast. It may be the way you're typing lol.

Anyway, jump on that deal for $460 because you're not going to find a nav unit with bluetooth and rear camera for less even if it's a damn Jensen. I personally think if you need a backup camera with a Z, you need to go back to school and learn how to drive but you never know, a lot of people like that out there (I normally drive something 5 times the size of the Z with a 50-ft trailer attached to it and i have no backup cam and I backup just gawd damn fine)

I just got my Z a few days ago so i havent had a chance to swap the system in it yet, but in my previous car (is300) i ran a Jensen touchscreen, was a little older (i bought it new in '06 I believe) and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality. The iPod interface was spot-on, never any disk playback issues, touch sensitivity was no problem, and the sound was sufficient without an external amp for the door speakers. I haven't been able to see the newer models in action yet but from past purchase I wouldn't hesitate to buy the model your referring to and actually might in the next week or so. IMO you wouldn't be at all disappointed with the fantastic features you'll get for the price.
