I think the useful links have all been archived. But I have mine installed per some useful threads that used to exist. . .

The most evil trick that I did was I actually wired the power supply for the unit directly off the fusebox. I came off the 15 amp Cig Lighter fuse. This is truly the hackiest thing I've ever done to any car I've ever owned, but it works fine and besides the Delphi unit only draws 1 amp with its own fuse...

Try doing a search for Delphi xm though, you might luck out. Otherwise I'll try to get some pix for ya.

Thank you. I couldn't find, but I've seen it on here before. Do you like yours? Where did you mount the antenna?

I mounted my antenna on the driver's side of the rear crossbeam. It works damn near perfectly. Running the line there is also pretty easy, because the panels just pull straight up. Ran it straight up to the fuse box, then ziptied the antenna line to all the other wires back there.

All told, I think I've sold just about every friend of mine on XM. All I have to do is take them for a ride, ask them what kind of music they like, and find the station. Just about everyone is sold.

I also got the home adapter, but I'm having a problem with some background noise, so I think my main unit may have a slight noise problem (its not real loud compared to CD's - probably a 30% level decrease, even with line out set to max). But it still works and I have found so much more music than what I get on my shoddy LA radio stations around here. I think XM has influenced probably 9 of my last 10 cd purchases.

Good luck!

Thanks Dave. Can I ask where you live in southern CA? The reason I asked is that I often ride up to East Tennessee and the mountains block my GPS signal and wondered if you've had any dead spots back in the canons?
