Amp Issues after 6 months?
Hey guys,
So after my plenum install today (which went very well) I ran into a really strange issue: my amp would either not power on at all or would come on after some period of time. My HU and all other electronics power up without issue every time, and well this system has been working great for over 6 months now since i installed it all.
I run no stock audio components, new double din HU, Amp, speakers, subs, etc. My thoughts leaned towards the possibility of my battery beginning to die? All wiring is intact (and thus would make sense considering the unit does occasionally go on and work fine).
During the engine work today there were a few ECU resets but I dont think that should have any effect on my amp besides my HU being reset and all.
I also checked the inline fuse from the battery and it checks out, there are 2 of them on the amp but would it even power on if one were blown?
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

There's two power wires to the amp in a normal amp.
One fused one from battery or inline capacitor.
The other runs from headunit to amp. Both should be fused.
Depending on who and how the amp wiring was done, use
A VOM (volt meter) to see if u are getting power right at the
amp on the two amp power connections and once verified
Then check ground off amp.
