Default 350z BOSE + GPS. Can I change the HU and keep the GPS?

Hi guys,

I have a 2005 350z and I want to put a Pioneer 4300 DVD Headunit. I already got the PAC adapter so I can plug it with my BOSE system. I called a couple of audio shop and ask them if they can install it, but most of them are telling me if I change my headunit, I will lose my GPS. Is it true?

Am I losing everything or only the audio? Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks a lot! Can't wait to throw away that BOSE headunit.

The only connection, that I'm aware of, between the Bose head unit and the navigation is the voice...which you will lose. All other functions will remain.

thanks, this is what I found on my research too. there is a way to keep the way with an external speaker, but I can live without it.

Anybody can confirm that the only thing I will lose is the voice? 4 audio shop told me I would lose my OEM nav unit without the headunit.
