i ahve the same issues, but the weight savings is awesome.

Im removing all my plastic trim pieces.. at 102k miles, im sure there will signs of wear in the places the pastic touches the metal underneath.. i will use silicone adhesive ( clear) and paint on a few beads here and there, smear it fairly then, wait til it tack dries and then reinstall the plastic over it. Should squish where necessary , yet still be light.. its not a dynmat thype of rattle.. and yeah.. i ahve no clue how that thin mdf tab holds that box up, but my thought ( since i used a grille) is that the end actually sits up onthe gas tank.. i put mine in the passenger side, and it didnt fit real great as the latch area needs to be cut, i was tired, hot and just used pliers to crack out a nice flat piece.

Over all? eh. its cool. TCI was low too.

I mean if i wanted it turned up to super ultra bass, yeah, its a rattle trap, but for all in all, dude its sweet. Reminds me of my frineds 911.. dope factory beats, and no woofer insight.

HavX, how did you anchor your amp rack into the glove box cavity? Just to the brackets, or is it anchored elsewhere as well?

Did anyone vent their amps as well? Was thinking about getting the stock sub cover panel and mounting a couple cooling fans to it.
