Default What to do in the sub space

I am new to audio installation and was considering doing a project this weekend by building components to later do a future install of a dvd/navigation system.

1) Are there any diagrams out there for exact dimensions of the space where the bose sub fits (i have a non-bose system)

2) What are the best components to use to build a setup to hold components there? Wood, plastic, metal?

Thanks.

don't think theres any diagram that shows the sub dimension. Even the service manual don't have dimensions. I think it was 5 cubic feet of space there. If you need exact dimension, you're gonna have to get yourself a ruler.

No idea, what components you're gonna put in there. suggest wood since its the easiest to work with and less chance of rattle like metal.

use wood, and you can install amp racks in there, mount 2+ amps plus crossovers.. maybe cap!
