Default Alpine CDA-105 sub output not working

Amp: Fosgate P3001 Mono
Sub: JL W1v2

Just installed a brand new Alpine CDA-105 headunit into my car. Everything works great besides the subwoofer.

I checked the settings and the sub out is on, RCAs are plugged in, the amp turns on. Had my friend check my wiring and he said everything is plugged in right. When I turn the bass up you can feel the sub rumble a little but it is not being pushed. I had this setup in my previous car with a Pioneer headunit and it worked fine. I also have a 4ch JL 300/4 setup and that works fine too. Pretty sure the positive and negatives are hooked on correctly.

I even put my amp and sub in my brother's car to see if it was any of those but it works perfectly fine in his car.

Is there a setting somewhere on the amp that I'm missing? Possible defected unit? I'm going to my friend's house later today to try out his alpine unit in my car to see how that goes. Thanks.
