Well I my JL C2-650X Coaxials won't fit the front doors. Even with a 1" particleboard spacer and a layer of dynamat they are still .25" too deep and hit the window.

Crutchfield has the depth on these listed at 2.5", which is the same depth they have for C2-650 and C5-650 components; I just looked at the speaker fitment threads here and half of you guys have 2.6" depth speakers mounted; I only have 2.4" before I hit glass, even with a 1" spacer; how did you guys get those to fit?

@zakmartin I am running a 2 ohm sub so that is a difference too, I won't lose as much power, and from what I can see your G1700 runs at 250 RMS at 12 volts, its only at 14.4 volts it gets to 350 RMS - so unless your cruising around at 4000 rpm with your alternator pounding, I doubt your seeing 350 out of it... most cars are under 14 volts idling; so really your new amp is closer to the Slash than your old amp. The 250 Slash does 250 RMS at any voltage.

Just bought 1/4 inch plastic spacers, so I guess I will run those on top of the 1" spacers when they arrive; guess I'll be the only guy on here that has to run 1 1/4" of spacing for a 2.6 speaker?! I don't get it.
