Default zEnclosures?

Hey guys! I just bought an 03 Enthusiast and I can't deal with the stock speaker set up! I ordered a set of Kicker DS60's and I already put in an Alpine 125BT! However, I know I'm going to want a little bit of bass to balance things out, so I was starting to look at sub boxes, I've pondered around the behind the driver seat SRQ Customs box, the Understrut enclosures that ZEnclosures sell, and the Corner enclosures (WickedCAS and Zenclosures). I'm curious what would sound good for a balance, I'm not looking for SPL much at all, just enough to make the music sound good, and just a hair bit of bump. Any chance I can get some guidance? I'm not trying to break the bank -- I was looking at an Infinity 1060w, or a JL 10w3v3. I currently have an Alpine MRP-M500, but no sub. Any recommended direction / guidance? Would 8"'s fit what I'm looking for? Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Chris

I am actually about to list my custom box that held two 12s if you're interested. I can pm pics of it installed if you want.

The Zenclosure boxes are nice, I have one in my Z. A single 10" would add a little extra bass, but nothing overbearing. Just make sure your amps RMS rating matches the subwoofer's RMS rating. I believe Zenclosures makes single and dual 10-12" enclosures

I have the Zenclosure corner box with a JL W3V3-4 and a 700 watt JL monoamp. Used about a pound of polyfill in it. Bass sounds fantastic.

I am happy with the Zenclosure. Mine was well built and fit very snugly. As you can see, mine is the RECESSED under-strut-bar style. I went with this one solely to have a little more storage space (groceries, etc). The only downfall with this particular box however, is that you have to watch the depth of the sub. I think you get just at 7" with this one. My RF P3 barely fit.

I appreciate the helpful replies. I'm already seeing I'm going to enjoy being a 350z owner not only because of the car, but because of the community! I have a kicker tc104 that fits perfectly between the z bar and the hatch closed. I'm getting the system wired this upcoming saturday, and then I'll move from there on getting a new sub/box. Any recommendations for subwoofers? I've had a shallow P3 that was really nice, but I'm really not looking for loud, just quality and bass.

I'm obviously biased to the P3, but the possibilities are endless. Consider the JL W3 if you just want quality bass.

I'm between the zEnclosure understrut, the corner, or the behind driver seat.. :/
