Default WHich rockford fosgate option?

id be doing the 1000 watt amp which will be more than enough for the 12 single, but for the 2 10's id eventually would probably need another one. concerns are weight, and cash of course. need your guys help on this one, but these are the options id finally narrowed it down too.

2 of these- http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosga...276469&sr=1-54

or

1 of these - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003AILWI8

800 watts rms. these things can go to 1/4 Ohm Stable. LOw Total Harmonic Distortion Levels. its a beast through and through. Fraction of the price. And i am sure it will last longer than the new best buy/fosgate amp

I remember the good old days when the battle was between the Orion HCCA series amps, the Autotek XX series and the U.S. Amps top of the line offerings. All 1/4 ohm stable, low THD amps before the time of Class D amps. Back when we'd power entire systems off of amps that were rated for 44 watts rms that would outdo today's "2000 watt" amps.

Then they all were sold to large companies and have never been the same since.

regulated power supply amps for 350z ftw... which ever you chose. or buy a huge alternator.. your choice OP. All this huge electricity has to come from somewhere, dont matter what the amp box says itll do.

Instead of talking about walking to school half naked through blizzards our generation says
"hell sonny i remember back in my day it took one amplifier and several crossovers to run the entire system, those were the days" and i couldnt agree more.
one 7th order box with a 44 watt rms us amp would out perform all the crap out there now
