Default Flush fit with pioneer 4300?

anyone have this installed with a flush fit on an 07-08 Z? i see many pics of the 4200 in older Z's that have a different center console than mine that fit perfect and are flush, but cant find much on 07-08 Z's with the 4200 or 4300 installed. Im assuming im going to have to drill the brackets in order to get a flush fit?

i believe there are 2 kits Scosche and metra... the scosche is the flush one.. but it looks like $hit and falls out... the metra is better..
For mounting i just modified the stalk one. bend and cut the metal to get proper mounting.. stalk metal one is way more sturdy than the flimsy plastic one supplied with the kit..

i went to the local car toys and purchased the kit for 22 bucks and then maneuver it with the stock frame to let it fit and then from there on the installation back into the car was just maneuvering the whole thing around to where it'll sit flushed. =) Good luck.

btw. I used an older model pioneer, the avhp3300bt but it should be the same thing.

i think on mine i bended the metal tabs till they came off.. and i got a perfect. fit.. some decks are longer ,different screw hole patterns and require a bit to get them to fit nice.. spend the time and get it looking nice.. or it may bother ya..

+1 for the American International kit, I have this kit in my 07 with a avh4100, its flush and won't affect the screen.
I had the metra kit prior and shaved it down, I didn't like the look since it still moved around.

oic my metra kit fits fine, its the metal brackets that i took off the factory stereo and put on my head unit. it sits back about a quarter of an inch on the top of where the trim is supposed to be flush, and the deck itself sits behind the upper center console.. odd =/
