I just got my 2006 350z on sunday, I'm looking for an after market head unit with bluetooth streaming music capability... looking at either the Clarion VX400 or the Pioneer AVH-P3300BT. Anyone have experience with either of these units or have any other suggestions in the sub $500 price range?

avic D3 fits nice in the Z.

 

I know it's above your price range, but I just put a Kenwood DNX7180 in my Z and couldn't be happier. Bought it new on ebay for $700, took me 4 hours to install, and it has Pandora!

 

I have not used the Pioneer model you mentioned but currently have a Pioneer in my Z and am completely happy with it. If I were to have to replace it for some reason I would be looking to get another Pioneer.

 

I have seen the Pioneer in action in a few guys cars around here, no complaints... the mentioned Kenwood unit by 12254 is def a good one too.

 

My only complaint is that the USB+ aux cord is in thr front. It doesn't bug me but it's not really clean install. I use the iPhone USB so it just hangs out lol. Other than that no complaints

 

if you can stretch your budget to 550, look at the pioneer avic-x930bt. it'll add dvd and divex playback as well as navigation. i just got mine off ebay with a warrenty.

 

i love the pioneer head unit in my xterra.

wired to a 500w kenwood amp and 2 kenwood 10" subs
