Does anyone have this thing?

I am wondering if the control unit will fit in the NAV spot without mods.

The escort site only has face pictures of it, no idea of size.

 

Hmm...I'm not sure the jammer works. A lot of times these things don't even pick up laser because the beam doesn't hit wide enough to set off the sensor. No info on the unit though, sorry.

 

Actually, the Z3 works very well. It doesn't need a laser to be pointed at it for it to work - it's an active jamming system and continuously puts out a scrambled IR signal to confuse laser speed guns.

And yes, it's legal since it's transmitting in the IR range, not in the radar range of frequencies.
