New Headunit Questions
I recently purchased a new headunit to replace my 2003 Bose unit. I have a few questions I was wondering if anyone could help me with as I'm new to car audio.
The unit i bought: Pioneer AVH-P3300BT Info Here
Would this unit send power to all 7 car speakers? Is that the purpose of the wiring harness? proper speaker power distribution?
Would this work with factory navi? If it disables voice route guidance i dont have a problem with that seeing as its fairly annoying anyways.
Is installation fairly straightforward? Hooking up the stock sub fairly simple?
I also purchased 2 10' kickers which I am still in the process of building a sub enclosure for, as well as an audiobahn amp.
Just wondering if this headunit would be suitable/fully compatible.
All help is greatly appreciated, Thanks

I have factory navi in my Z and I replaced the stock bose headunit with an ALPINE INA-W910. What you want is the PAC ROEM-NIS2 to integrate the factory bose speakers/amp with the aftermarket headunit. Downside to an aftermarket HU with factory navi is that the navi will lose voice guidance. I'm guessing since you have an 03, you don't have steeringwheel controls? So prolly won't need a steering wheel controls module.
I dunno much about personally installing, but I'm guessing it shouldn't be too bad of an install if you know what you're doing. I had a reverse camera and steering wheel module installed so it took a while longer.
