Need some subwoofer advice/suggestion
PREFACE: I don't know jack about car audio besides the basics, I'm just not in to it.

Ok, my neighbor just handed me two(2) 600W amps. One is a 4 channel, the other is a 2 channel...they're both Orion Cobalts. He also gave me a pair of component speakers. Forgot which brand.
I did some research on this stuff and yes, I know they're cheap and not worth anything but I give a $4!t because all of this cost me...free-ninety-nine. Furthermore, the neighbor two houses up the street heard about this and walked to my house with a JL subwoofer (although it looks jacked up).
Either way. I've installed the 4 channel and the component speakers. It sounds great but I'd like to have more low frequency capabilities.
As far as the 2 channel/600W amp...I'd like to run that to one subwoofer. My concern is that I'd like to not take up any more room in my trunk (Evo 8 trunk, rear mount battery and meth reservoir already there).
Can I please get some suggestions for a subwoofer or two from a minimalist perspective?

If you can take measurements of the space you want to put the box in, we can calculate available airspace and go from there.
Also, the actual model number from the amp might help. (or the 12v specs, we need to know if it's 600 watts rms or "instantaneous, lightning-strike, never gonna hear it" max.

Pick up my slim sub if you don't want to add a ton of weight and slow your car down.

I don't know how much bump you want. But I'm TELLING you, you don't need to spend a whole ton of cash on a sub to make the Z bump. SERIOUSLY, I run ONE 10" Infinity Reference 1060w sub and it sounds AMAZING. Super smooth and super deep, it's just awesome. The sub costs $60 and is nothing short of awesomeness.
