has anyone seen or know if this screen can be put in the dvd nav area? it looks pretty fat on the sides of it...

how about the picture quality from the sides? anyone have experience with this and is it worth the purchase?

also i saw this Clarion VMA6593 6.5" lcd, it appears that it may fit better...anyone ever seen it in action? whats the viewing angle on it compared to the alpine tme-m760?

good thing I read this, I was bidding on one on Ebay. I thought it would fit since others are putting 7 inch screnes in. Oh well, gotta do some more research.

 

Yes; it's too wide. Making a last ditch attempt to get it installed at an angle, and not flat.

i'm probably gonna end up getting a Alpine TME-M760. Just got to find one cheap enough.

 

i just decided to go with the FARENHEIT 7" lcd. i found one on an ebay auction with a dvd player both brand new for 245 with shipping! It was too good a deal to pass up so i got them! i'll be getting my system installed soon...i'll post as soon as i get it done.
