Default SQ install ideas? SEAS Lotus / IDmax Active Setup

Hello,

I'm not new to car audio installs but I am new to the Z. Looking for the best way to situate the following equipment with focus on SQ. Spare tire optional. Trying to get some opinions on mids being in the doors with those thick bulky molded grills vs. kickpanel install - worth it? Does the door veil a lot of sound?

Equipment:

Tweeters: http://www.seas.no/index.php?option=...250&Itemid=235

Tweeter Amp: Zapco 350.2 (100x2 rms @ 4 ohm)

Mids: http://www.seas.no/index.php?option=...251&Itemid=236

Mid Amp: MB Quart RAA 2400 (200x2 rms @ 4 ohm)

Sub: IDMAX 12"

Sub Amp: Elemental Designs Nine.1 (900x1 rms @ 2 ohm)

Source/Head Unit: Pioneer Premier 880 PRS

I'm no stranger to trial and error but I also appreciate that people have already taken the time to do this kind of installation. Any tips for driver placement in the car would be helpful.

I'm almost settled on tweeters in a-pillars, mids in doors, sub in a Zenclosure with amps replacing spare tire. Maybe any tips to try to keep the spare with a sub that requires 1.2 cuft and has 9" mounting depth?

Many thanks

Wish I could help you as I have a Roadster . I think kickpanels would sound great if Tweeter/mids were aimed properly . If not your sound stage will be at your feet/knee's . And by the way , nice deck. I have 2 of them brand new in the box in my collection .

You should talk to Bing (16psibrick I believe).

He does amazing installs, especially the locations he uses with SEAS components. I have DLS Iridiums in his kick pods and it sounds amazing. Someday I've like to upgrade to SEAS with his custom pods and pillar pod for the tweeter, it looks awesome.

Here is one of his installs
