i visited a car stereo shop near my house and i told them i wanted to change out my speakers and the guy there told me i should buy this one unit, i forget the name, but it basically had an eq and crossover.

then i told him i was thinkin' of getting an in car pc but didn't want to use an fm mod . . . and he said the same company made a unit that had an eq and two line in's but that unit didn't have a crossover, so he said i needed a separate one.

does this sound legit? the units were like between 150-250 . . . not sure what company makes them. any help would be appreciated.

 

you don't need 2 line in (only need one aux in) Shop around and compare function and price before you buy/install.
