Default Pioneer CD-BTB200

Hey everyone, new member here. I recently purchased a 03 350z that has a pioneer AVH-P3100DVD headunit installed. I would really like to have bluetooth calling and audio (hey, I purchased the car as a toy....I might as well get some toys, right?). I know that pioneer makes the CD-BTB200 unit which would add this functionality to the stereo, but I've also seen a lot of reviews pointing out that the unit has a lot of issues. Is anyone here using it? Have you experienced any problems? My options are to spend the $150, or replace the headunit all together, which I'd prefer not to do, but I also have no use for the DVD functionality of the headunit, I just think it looks pretty, so replacing isn't a massive issue. I'd be connecting with an iPhone4, if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just posted some info on this in a different thread. I talked to Pioneer last week. I was going to add the CD-BTB200 but found out some issues so I called to confirm. Don't waste your money if you have iPhone4. The software in the unit is outdated. The bluetooth functionality you get from the iPhone is very limited. The unit does not auto-connect so you have to re-connect each time you enter your car. You cannot transfer all your contacts. Do a google on this issue and read customer experiences and disappointments for yourself. I came close to buying it. Good thing I searched.
And if you happen to have an android devise, forget it.

If your unit has a 3.5mm input jack, you can use a cable to connect your iphone to it and have a conversation through your stereo... That's what I do on my stereos...
