I've tried everything I know, and I can't make my rear-view mirror stop rattling, short of holding it very tightly with both hands, and I can't do that too well driving down the road. I want to do this myself if possible instead of taking it to the dealer. Does anybody know how to dissassemble the rear-view mirror?

 

take it to the dealer, there was a TSB on it.

 

Really? Which one? I looked through the resources page and couldn't find any that specifically dealt with the rear view mirror.

 

i had that one too, it sounded like a buzzing noise...? it's been gone for a little while but i'm sure it'll be back on day...but i just started getting another one by the rear view at the top of the windsheild, i'm trying to figure out where this one is coming from!!! >

yep, ive got the same problem, i kept on touching my dash, but i finally grabbed the mirror and it stopped...

i think mine is the connection outside the mirror that is buzzing tho, the power plug i think it is. well, i am gonna try and fix it today.

 

can't tell you what TSB it is, but we just went to the dealer with a complaint about the rear view mirror and they ordered us a new one under warranty.
You should not have to worry about fighting for it.

 

WREN - Let me know what you found. I have the same problem. Will check out at the dealer to find out about this TSB as well.
