Please do a search. This has been discussed about 50 times here.

The short answer though: Either into the mirror or into the fusebox. There are some "stealth" installs that are also very nice.

I'd love to search. Every time I click on the page it freezes my browser.

There have already been many useful comments posted on this topic. The relevant instructions and photographs for installation are described in several previous posts (search).
I don't have a new method but just want to share what worked for me. Using a custom clamp crafted by Mike Peronek (mike 3348@adelphia.net), I mounted a Passport 8550 on the rear view mirror, hardwiring it through the mirror column over and down the door post to the #7 Fuse slot. I also put a remote mute halfway up the dash to the right of the steering wheel using the remote mute hardwire kit which is available from Escort/Passport. It looks very clean and works great. Thanks to all who shared and posted the information.
