Question Swapping Double Din with New + Accessories Question

I currently run an Alpine INA-W910 headunit. It's pretty damn speedy and all, but doesn't have a very up-to-date GUI. I have an Alpine Reverse Camera installed along with the HU + Bluetooth Mic. The perk of this HU is Alpine actually makes a module for tricking the HU into thinking it's always parked, so no need for hacks / switch flipping sequences to fully utilize the HU while car is in motion.

Now, I was thinking about upgrading to a Pioneer AVIC-X940BT. Not sure if it has the same "hack" or "Park module" like the Alpine, but I do like the interface. Looks much better GUI-wise, pretty much has all the same function as the INA-W910 but more integration with mobile devices. Question now is, Would I be able to use the Alpine's Reverse camera with this unit or will I have to purchase a Pioneer one? From my lack of understanding, I believe the Reverse Cam just feeds a signal to the HU and there are people that use off brand reverse cameras to tap into the 370's Navi for reverse camera functions, but would the same work for Alpine/Pioneer? Or has anyone done it before with other Pioneer HU models? Just trying to see if wanting this "upgrade" for a prettier GUI / more function is worth the cost and if I'll be able to save some cost from not having to rewire a new reverse cam.

Thanks!

i doubt the camera is unti specific. i ahve the hce 115 camera and it certainly could be used w any headunit.

Dude, dont go Pioneer tho. just get a better newer Alpine.
Ebay, 799.. good to go. They only have a 12 mo warranty even from authorized dealers.. (i was one).. its built well enuff that its a good call to buy cheaply over ebay.

Sorry dealers.

I have the top of the line model right now tho ;\ http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/ina-w910 It just looks really outdated GUI-wise.

What's wrong with the Pioneer units? AVIC-X940BT just came out. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...on/AVIC-X940BT Also has a volume **** + SD card for convenience.
