Need help, new head unit but no sound.
I need some urgent help on this. I just got done installing a new pioneer P3300BT. All the wiring checkout, the unit power up and functions normally but I have no sound coming out.
I had the Bose premium setup, all I'm doing is upgrading the HU so I had to use the PAC ROEM-NIS2 harness in junction with the new HU, so wtf am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I have the AVH-P4300DVD, the manual is same for your unit. Does it display the word "Demo"?. If so, tap on the Demo for a few secs, It reads AllOff at the top. Tap on it for the drop down and select what you want (radio etc). That is the sequence for first startup. If you have done that and still no sound then it is something else
ok wtf?! I drove to the gym and everything was just fine. Worked out for 2 hours and came out the sound was gone! It seems like the speakers are completely dead. Do the speak amp has it own fuse? if so where is it located? I would like to check that out before tearing stuff up again.
check that connection...i think the amp has a fuse im not sure off the top of my head, but you shouldnt have blown it unless your connection is bad in which case you might have messed up the turn on feed from the head unit...this wire is not fused and if u short it most if the time it stops working since i believe its rated in milliamps...
one more thing...im not sure about this particular pioneer piece but if the head unit harness has a blue and then a blue white wire (not common for pioneers but not impossible) the blue wire will only send a power signal while listening to the am/fm radio and will drop the signal when any other source is selected...make sure if your head unit is equipped with both the blue and the blue/white wire that u have the amp turn on to the bose hooked up to the blue/white...not the blue

After thinking about I finally took the wire harness out and fixed it. I used the amp remote wire (solid blue wire) to turn on the stock bose speak amp AND the secondary monitor. Apparently the amp didn't like this, so after giving the monitor its own power source everything works flawlessly. Hopefully this will help for those who use the search function in the future.
