Default Subwoofer Wire Colors

I'm putting a new 10'' speaker into the slot where the oem one is...its a 2003

Do you guys know which wire is positive and which is negative? I pulled off that black protector over the wires and I see a yellow wire and a black/white wire.

I just don't know which is positive

If the oem bose sub has a plastic molex plugged in , unplug it from the sub , cut the plug off leaving at least 2 inches of wire attached . Plug it back into the sub . Take a AA or 9v battery and hook one wire to + and one to - on the battery . When the sub pushes out , note what color of wire is going to the + on the battery(this will be your + speaker wire) . If the sub cone pulls in , simply reverse the wires on the battery .
