Default Banks IQ Display

New to the 350Z so excuse my ignorance, LOL My son wants to put a display in the compartment above the radio. He wants it to display gauges and what not. I just saw the Banks IQ that looks like what we are looking for, it displays gauges, GPS and Video and is a 5in display size. Anyone have any experiance with this or have seen someone do this? Looking for input before we lay down the cash and run into problems. Thanks in advance

Is he running some form of forced induction or nitrous? Or racing regularly? If not, there isn't much point in getting a display like that.

I don't know about the Banks display but I use a DashDAQ paired with a Zeitronix ZT2 wideband and have it mounted in that location.

I love it because it displays all the info I need without cluttering up the dash with a dozen gauges. I can datalog to an SD card which is great. The only bad part is the OBD2 parameters are pretty limited. Not a big deal for me, I just ordered the additional pressure and temp sensors I needed and they wire right in.

The DashDAQ can be ordered with GPS functionality but from every review I've seen it is garbage.
