I swear to god I WILL install this. I kept putting it off hoping to get better speakers first, but I might just have to take my door panels off a few extra times.

Default Seems like a good product!!

I installed the GTMat in the doors of my 2008 350Z along with new speakers (Infinity Ref 6502ix). The GTMat is very easy to work with. I was cutting it with scissors and a utility knife and it didn't seem to gunk up either very much. When you first peal the release backing you get a faint asphalt like smell which disappears within seconds. I installed it by cutting the roll (3 x 4 foot) into squares which made it more manageable to install here in the door. Overall I am quite happy with the product and look forward to putting it into other areas of the Z.

Quick question for you guys: Do you prefer the mat product shipped in roll form or precut into sheets?

i used this to stop heat from coming in through the floorboard and transmission tunnel. i put 2 layers of the 50ml and it worked great.

i think the sheets make it more manageable..also, i recommend using a utility knife to cut it while having the mat on a hard flat surface. i used my garage floor. scissors get gummed up.

Hey Freddy! If you are looking to add more, we do have a liquid product available now that can be sanded down and painted. Let me know if you are interested and I'll send over pricing.

Does that Liqui-Damp come in any colors other than light gray? I might be interested in it if it comes in black, because It'll be less obvious if I make a mistake in my black interior.

No, we are unable to alter the color. The product, once dry, can be sanded down and painted over though. We are currently testing a tan color as well.

Hey John,
I think we are having some issue with our phone system after upgrading the network. We are still trying to work out the kinks. If you can't get through, please email your info to me. I'll also respond to your email sent earlier.

Thanks,
Tracie
