I was wondering if you could tell me how you did the installation for the stainless steel plate... I need some advice please..

 

I have this din plate. Basically, you take the plate, and insert the metal mounting bracket/sleeve that came with your HU into it. You fasten the bracket/sleeve to the din plate with the metal tabs on the bracket. Then you insert the radio into the DIN plate and the Din plate into the dash until it fits flush. Next, the key step, mark the factory bracket just over the mounting holes on your HU. Drill the holes into the factory bracket so that when you fasten it to the radio it will hold the din plate and radio in flush with the rest of the dash.

 

My Plate is actually too small, it covers up the very top edge of my HU. I will have to try to fix that somehow.. thanks for the write up though...
