Lookin to hear any opinions on the sound quality in the Z, and if they fit flush without any extra legwork to install?

They sound great!! I have them powered by a 3ch Xtant Amp, with a 10in Kicker L7 Square sub. They fit in the stock locations with no problems. Every one that hears my system says it one of the best systems they have ever heard. Its not the one with the most boom but it is very clear and tight. Good luck.

D-d-d-definitely g-g-good qu-qu-ality drivers! (sorry..its soooo f#ckin' cold here. Nips are frozen stiff ..and I'm happy to see you ;-) LOL)

Tweets are a touch "bright",
mids are very clean,
and the subs are dead-on (perfect punch..no buzz).

Get it installed well, making sure to properly set your sound stage (no rears necessary..just money spent on 'fill') you will be very satisfied.
While the speakers are the final step in the system, you should consider a high quality amp(s) and H.U. as well. The whole is only as good as its weakest part (whoa..dude..very heady. LOL)

Girls with SQ audio in a 'Z' car..ya gotta love us :-)

 

I have a set up front powered by a single PPI PCX250 and they sound great, but as mentioned above are very bright tweets.
