wondering where nearest power cable is?

looking to put my car PC in the glovebox and wanna tap into one as close as possible.

 

If I were tapping into an existing circuit, I'd use the cig lighter at the back of the center console. IIRC, there's lighting in the glovebox, but I'd be nervous tapping into such a low draw circuit like that. I'm sure the cig lighter circuit is fused high enough to handle it. I've never done a carPC, so I don't know if you need a constant +12v for memory. If you do, you'll probably have to run one.
