Does anyone know if a navigation system would work in a base model if I get it from a track model? I recently bought it from a friend but I don't know if the system would still navigate.

 

Most likely not. There are some other posts that talk about buying a Nav unit from a dealer and most of these posts state that it can't be done. Apparently you would need to tear the track model apart to get everything you need and would need to tear your car apart as well. You would be better off going after market.
