Default Does the car require an amp when replacing stock HU?

I have a 07 touring roadster with the non-nav Bose system (sub behind driver seat) and I just bought a pioneer avh-p8400bh. I am wondering if the sub will require an amp once the stock head unit is replaced?

I have also purchased the metra axxess aswc steering wheel control adapter, parking brake override, and the cd-iu201s ipod cable from amazon.

I should be all set right?

Don't think u need an amp unless you are installing a subwoofer or want to run all your mids/highs to the amp

the car has the bose amp and sub from factory and I was originally wondering if when replacing the head unit they would lose functionality but the pac adapter should do the trick.
