I was wondering if anyone has put an aftermarket amp in the bose sub compartment. I thinking about doing this because it would definatly help with space. I do not need the bose sub hints the aftermarket amp but What i am wondering about is what issues if any would I run into?

so no problem with the sound from the rest on the factory speakers when you disconnect the bose sub? i am not putting a sub in there just the amp... i have 2 subs in the back that i will be using. i am just wondering bc i have seen on some bose systems if one is disconnected for some reason the others dont work.

 

No, the only problem would be if you disconnected the amp in the trunk
