I just replaced my 2003 Bose H/U with one that functions (Got my sweet jams back!) but I wasn't sure if it was worth my time and effort to disassemble the old unit to get my CDs back that are stuck inside it. Maybe they will come out after dropping the unit off the top of the parking garage more exciting.

Is there an easy way to reclaim CDs stuck inside a dead Bose H/U?

I guess the better question is whether it's worth the time to disassemble the unit to get some CDs (the new cassette tape). I just want to know how much work it takes to get CDs out of it so I can determine if I should just trash the unit.

 

Drop it off a building and post pictures.
