My experience with Wicked CAS
I've been lurking for some time and decided to pick up some door pods for an 08 and went to Wicked's site to order them. I placed my order and received an email stating my order was processed 2/22/13. I wait a few weeks and nothing shows up via mail and call wicked 3/13/13. They assure me the pods are being worked on and will be ready in a "week." A week goes by and I give them another call 3/20/13. I get told again they will ready in a "week." I remind the rep I was told this last week. I get told molds have to be made and that takes time, then the molds have to be sent out. I ask if this is the first time he has made door pods for this model. He says no and I question why then is there an issue making molds. He has no answer. I then am told it takes up to four weeks to complete a fabrication order.
I wait untill 3/25/13 to call and inquire about the status of the door pods. I'm told they are not ready because they had a car show. I remind the rep that he is running a business and as such once he accepts my money, he has accepted the responsibilty to return services and goods for it. His other committments do not exonerate him from fulling current ones. He asks what will it take to make me happy.
At this point I am certain I am no longer a valued customer. I have been lied to REPEATEDLY. I told him I want a refund to my credit card (and btw this is exactly why I strongly dislike using pay pal). He said that wouldn't be a problem. Remember this was 3/25.
I call today 4/4/13 why my card has not been credited. I am told that it will be taken care of. That sounds familiar doesn't it. Fortunately, my credit card has my back. I spoke with them and if a credit doesn't show up by the 4/613, they will credit me and go after Wicked themselves.
Cliffs: Only use a credit card purchasing from Wicked CAS. They do not deliver.
