Are you writing about the RACELOGIC GPS dataloggers? These show drift angle, braking performance, 0-60mph time, top speed, G-Force, acceleration and a whole host more? These are used by 99% of the worlds car manufacturers. Try www.racelogic.co.uk for more info

He is talking about sensors for an alarm system. Tilt is only needed if you really are concerned someone will try to jack your car up and steal your rims... But I'm pretty sure low imact jacks (like the scissor jack that comes with most cars) won't set it off anyway. Motion sensors are hard to adjust and give false alarms most of the time. That being said, as long as you have even ONE sensor port (including one currently taken up by a shock sensor), you can hook up both on that one if you wanted

Using a proximity sensor works the best however like said above they do false a lot of not adjusted properly. If you are installing it yourself make sure it is in the center of your car and give yourself plenty of time while adjusting it. Nothing is more annoying than an alarm system that falses a lot

I've read that the motion sensor gives false alarms, but the tilt sensor might be useful in case you're getting towed, or wheels getting stolen.

Id definitely go with a tilt sensor since its harder to steal these cars through hotwire, its easier to just tow it.
