Radio output gone bad HELP!!
So the right side channel on the stock unit has gone bad on my 03 Z Enthusiast. Ive done some searching for radio removal....had little luck on finding my specific radio removal.
Either way my question is has anyone ever jumped one channel on the harness to the other to get sound on all 4 speakers. (ex. jumping the left channel soldering the two together with an additional jumper wire connecting the left speakers to the right. thus getting signal to the right speakers. Basically running everything off the working channel.)
Your probably asking why dont you go with an aftermarket radio? Lol Thats later down the rd. But for now this is my thoughts on the fix untill funds are sufficient.

Don't mess with the wiring, as you'll regret it later. And, if you were to run all 4 speakers by the method you've described, the impedance would likely drop too low and blow the other channel.
If $ is tight, spend a little, maybe $50, and find yourself a used OEM radio. It can be swapped in 30 minutes, or so. Search again, there are countless posts here and on the 'net showing the simple procedure.
