Default Stereo Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a good re[placement stereo. My factory stereo in my 2004 Z bit the dust. Radio still works, but CD player is done for. I am not looking for anything fancy. I'm a "CD, iPod guy, Miles Davis, John Coltrane listening cat." Could care less about all the other "bells and whistles." I've had Best Buy install in the past, but am not sure if I trust them with my baby. Any advice is welcome! Thanks!

Default Stock radio upgrade

I changed out the stock radio to a pioneer, Amp and sub. I got my kit from http://www.crutchfield.com. I installed it myself about a 1 to 10 about a 4. There's youtube video's that show you how to do it. I really like crutchfield because they send you everthing to install the head unit. For a good price cheaper than bestbuy. check out the site. Also if you don't want to install it you can get a gift card from them to have it installed at places where you live.

You need to let everyone know what your budget is before a recommendation of any sort can be made.

You are smart not to let Best Buy do it. My buddy has a g37 and best buy installed his speakers and a sub. A couple weeks later we had a huge rain and when he went out to his car there is 3 or 4 inches of standing water in. He took it to the dealership under warranty thinking something was just wrong with the car, and upon inspection they found that Best Buy had drilled a hole to run wire through and had not sealed it up, causing the leaking into his car. Needless to say Best Buy fronted the $600 bill, but still not a fun story..

Audio install are very easy to do yourself, especially in a 350z. It comes apart very easily.
