After: this is all for now. I'll be adding a 500w 4way amp here shortly.

The back looks great :-) I was thinking of doing the same (Change the speakers).

Is it possible to add an amp on Bose system?

Do you have any pics of the doors after, how does it look?

Thanks,
Az

Hmm Sorry about the randomness of the pictures... I don't know about amping the stock bose system. My uncle has stock Bose, maybe we'll try amping his and I'll let you know. Don't mind the odd looking door - i made the fatal mistake of trying to clean them in amorall (spelling) hehe Lot's of soap and water to get that stuff off. still more pictures :

Hey Michla -- It looks like you did the install yourself ... I was wondering if you had to use spacers on your doors to keep the window from hitting the speaker like some other people on the boards have experienced. I'm going to do my own install for the first time ever and I am looking for the easiest (and best sounding) speakers. Thanks

How did you cut the holes in the back, and what grills did you use? I have infinity perfects at all four corners, and would like to do the grills in the back like you have em... lemme know.

Ahh yes the front door speakers....Well that's a touchy subject. I did try putting them in and the window did hit the speaker. So I decided to do this (i know some would curse me)

I took the original speaker and cut out the center - thus giving me the space i needed that would bolt right up to the door - I then just screwed the new speaker into the old speaker frame. sealed up nice too. I'll post some pics.

Ok the holes in the back - well for the tweaters i just used a drill bit for a 1 13/16" diamiter - i think i ened up using 1 3/4" hole. Just drilled the hole in the plastic. As far as the grills - i popped the stock ones out and screwed in the grills that cam with the Infiniti speakers - the silver outling just happens to match the design in the car
