Default Help on system setup

Ima make this short since I'm typing from my phone. Current setup is a zenclosure box under strut bar housing 1 10" alpine type R. Amp unknown was in car before I bought it. Now I have a 3200Watt amp in my closet and 2 12" 90's era kicker cvrs coming in the mail from a friend. The debate is should I just replace my current 10" with a hard deep crisps sounding new 10" or install these iffy CVR 12's. And if I should get a new 10" what would you gents suggests

A properly tuned and powered Type R really is plenty for a Z. I have 2 JL Audio and it's crazy. I'm feeding them around 950 watts from a RF T series amp and it gets loud very loud.

I think 2 12's is overkill. Play with the Alpine, I think you'll be happy with it.

A single 10 is usually more than enough for your "average" listener. The Type R's are very nice subs, especially for the price.

Sounds to me like you want to keep your current set up.
