Default Need help asap: Wiring problem

2004 350z Touring Roadster
has stock bose sound system and stereo
I was removing the head unit because a cassette got stuck in there and when I was putting it back together the colored wires all fell out and I do not know which color goes where

anybody know?

Your best bet would be to look through the FSM, its not going to be fun, but its doable. Find the connector number in there(usually letter followed by two digit number ie B20) and then look at the schematic and figure out the color and correspond it to the pin/position number on the connector.

Thats going to be a nightmare. Plus all the tabs, for each wire, are probably broken now.

It happens, OP. That particular plug can be a bit@h. MND7775 gave you the only actual answer to your problem.

1 . black ( front left hand speaker - )
2. white (front left hand speaker + )
3. red ( front right hand speaker - )
4. green ( front right hand speaker + )
5. green /white ( antenna signal )
6. yellow ( perm 12v + )
7. red/yellow ( illumination signal )
8. red/blue ( lighting switch )
9. shield
10. blue/green ( 12v + switched )

Might be lot easier to call local scrapyards, see if they have a Z.

Take pic of harness, or simply buy it.

This.

I doubt the wires will stay in the connector anymore.

Yea they do, I've just done the same thing with the smaller plug. Double checking now for colour codes as they are different from pic (I have 05 anniversary)
