Cable Advice, Please?

Folks,

I'm preparing to install my new Kenwood H-U in my 2005 Z and would like some advice/suggestions.

The unit has two 3.5mm A/V inputs in the rear. Should I use a standard 3.5mm male to female extension cable, or from my research there are also 4 pole connector/cables that are available.

Will the 4 pole make any difference or even be needed for say connecting an iPod or similar device?

Methinks you should go with the 4-pole version since it can handle audio and video. You are plugging this into an A/V jack...
